What do I know?

I have been asking myself this very question since the Nvidia interview. I have been going to school for 8 years, yet what do I know? I thought I knew enough, at least compared to my peers but after being put in my place by the Nvidia interviewer I question the content of my knowledge. Maybe it’s not the content of my knowledge but the ability to apply it? But what do I know?

I’m the person who instead of going out with friends, stays in listening to tunes, programming to get the edge on my competition (other students). After all that I am still left in the pasture. It all hinges on grades. The one who has the best grades is the person who gets the best job. Is a 2.5 student less qualified than a 3.5 student? No it just means the 3.5 student is a better test taker. Then again – what do I know?
