Steve Ballmer gave a great talk on Visual Studio, SQL Server and Biztalk. Intel’s CEO did a bit on Intel and how Microsoft is working together. On a side note: the slide right before Intel’s CEO introduction was stamped with AMD’s logo.
I stand corrected; Microsoft is giving away complementary software: Biztalk 2006, SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005. They just want a comments formed filled out. :)
Being a developer I am interested in Visual Studio. The new features rolled into VS 2005 are impressive. Probably the most impressive is the modeling. In previous versions modeling was not included. Everything was doing on paper or with 3rd party software. Most cases the 3rd party was catering to a generic paradigm. It wasn’t an exact fit.
Over the entire “Ready to Launch” event is shaping up nicely.
