New Old Music

Has anyone noticed that with in the last 6 months, many new songs have old tunes in them?

Nelly’s “N Dey Day” is a prime example; it uses a tune from the 90’s band PM Dawn. 50 Cent, Emeinm, Ludacris and The Game all have songs that use an underlying “old school” beat.

I don’t know if it’s the nostalgic feeling of the song or it’s just a good song. Either way I listen to them.
